When using the word "Vintage Woodworking Machinery", this Beach, Brown & Co. Table Saw certainly fits the description. This saw was manufactured between 1888 and 1890, originally designed to be powered by belt from an overhead drive. It is currently powered by a Dayton 6K757, 5 HP Single Phase 230 Volt, 23 Amp Motor, using 3 belts. The Motor and Belts look in newer condition. It currently has 12 inch diameter, 1 inch bore blades, but may take up to an 18 inch blade. The table measures 31 x 41 inches and the saw is around 38 inches high. Rip fence and miter work freely. I would guess the weight to be around 800 lbs. Feel free to contact me with any questions. |
