The machine is a Canedy-Otto Royal No. 16, manufactured in Chicago Heights, Illinois. Based on my research, it was likely built in the 1930s to early 1940s. It was my father’s drill press, and I would very much like to see it go to a good home where it can continue to be used and appreciated.
Specifications and Details:
Model: Royal No. 16 Serial Number: 16-17516 5-step cone pulley Single-phase, 110V Heavy cast-iron industrial construction Industrial machine (not a light hobby press)
The machine runs strong and smooth. It has been used regularly and operates as it should. Overall, it remains a very solid and capable piece of equipment.
I am downsizing. I am asking $150, but would entertain any reasonable offer. At this point, I just want to find a good home for the machine. |
