For Sale: 1920s Vintage 6-Inch Jointer – Project Machine
Selling a classic jointer from the 1920s—a heavy, cast iron beast built during the golden age of American manufacturing. This is a project machine I started but no longer have time to finish. Selling to clear space.

Here's what’s been done:
Stripped down, sandblasted, and repainted
Comes with new sheaves
Includes motor adjustment plate and babbit bearing material
1/2 HP motor (120V/240V) included – refurbished with new bearings
What it needs:
Final reassembly and alignment
Additional work depending on your standards for finish and fit
The tables are a bit rough but flat and usable once reassembled.
Great project for someone into vintage tools or restoring old machines. When finished, this will be a functional and beautiful piece of woodworking history. |
