I am selling my 12" jointer....The Porter....model 300CV.... It is a heavy duty (3-phase/440 volt, 4 Hp) reliable, durable machine. If you want the Grizzly 1 hp power stock feeder shown in the photos, add $400 to the price. Otherwise, if you want only the jointer, I will disconnect the Grizzly from the jointer and sell it in another auction/listing. You should know that machines like The Porter do not come up for sale very often. It saddens me to part with it but I am downsizing and moving to an area where I simply do not have the room for this fine machine.
I have been using this machine for about a year and it cuts through hardwood like a hot knife through butter. The three cutter blades are 12" x 1-1/2" x 1/8" thick. You can find the owner's manual as a download from www.OWWM.org if you want to read up a bit more on specifications.
Using this in tandem with my Crescent 24-inch planer (also for sale...see separate ad), moving rough-cut lumber to finished, square smooth boards is a breeze.
No defects....there is a welded repair on the guard (see photo) but that was like that when I purchased it....works fine.
Local pickup only. If Buyer wants it shipped, arrangement of and payment for shipping is responsibility of Buyer. I will try my best to facilitate shipping the item and can palletize and load the item on the shipper's truck for an extra $200 crating/loading/handling fee. If you come and pick it up on your pickup truck or trailer (remember, it is 1500 lbs.) I will load it for you with my forklift at no additional charge.
