I got this shaper from a furniture restoration shop. The gentleman I bought it from purchased it new in 1966, he thinks. He had intended to use the machine alot, but said in reality he never used it much at all. He put it in storage a few years ago and finally decided to part with it this year. I got the shaper and 28 assorted profile cutters. I just cleaned it up. The paint is original and it runs smooth with very little vibration. The machine sits on a pedistal stand that the previous owner built a platform over and put casters on the bottom. Under the Craftsman name on the label it says "Simpsons Sears Limited". I'm not sue what that means unless it is a limited edition.
