Another machine out of the Shaftsbury,Vt. pine furniture factory. This machine was in good condition becase it wasn't near any leaks or near the collapsed roof and wall area of the building. The table size is 38" wide by 25" deep and stands 38 1/2" from the floor.I replaced the on/off switch and added new wiring to the motor.I will also be replacing the 3 H.P. motor that is on the machine now with a newer 5 H.P. G.E.motor.The spindle is removable and you can use a collect for router bits which makes this shaper more desirable or useful then its cousin the Moak. The top had pine pitch and some surface rust that i cleaned off with a grey scotts-guard pad.The spindle housing, top half of the base and bottom of the table were also covered in a thick layer of pine pitch which may have helped in perventing a lot of rust.
