Bought from used tool store in Ferris Tx. Was told it could be a Walker Turner. After looking on OWWM found out it's a Canedy-Otto 5 speed made around 1940+-. This is a heavy machine for it's size. I placed it next to a Walker Turner I was lucky to find a few days ago. They do look close to the same but the Canedy-Otto is heavyer. It will be cleaned up and painted, it runs as smooth as any press I have used. Run out is little to none. For my woodworking it's very handy. It runs and feels like the old quality tools I enjoy owning. 1/2 " chuck and 1/3 hp c-man motor came on it. No telling what motor it had new. Maybe a Canedy-Otto brand. Old WT dp needs restoring but it feels like it's going to be a fine peformer too.
