A couple of new "After" pics are added at the end. I put the saw on a cart with built in Dust collection and also added my 4" Homecraft Jointer.
I purchased this Saw and a HomeCraft Jointer thru a Milwaukee CL entry for $50. The seller said it had belonged to his father for many years. It has been well taken care of and I intend to tear it down and clean it up, repaint, refinish the top and use it in my small shop.
It is a heavy beast and came with a good 1/2 HP motor ( not original) and the original miter gauge, fence and blade inserts. Will post new pics when I am done. It is a 1948 model as evidenced by the square blade insert panels. Later models had the oval shape. The info above says it was made in Paris, Tennessee but this model from 1948 was made in St. Louis, Missouri.
The restore included new arbor bearings (double sealed), New motor Bearings, and lots of spit and polish with Stainless Steel hardware where ever possible. The color is a satin Krylon called Oxford Blue in a rattle can. I had the base sandblasted and primed with Epoxy primer. It runs very smooth but I am ordering a power twist belt and machined steel pulleys.

The motor and mount were removed to reduce the weight so I could move it.
