I responded to an add in the newspaper. When I called he said he had an antique band saw for sale, along with other tools. Nothing much of interest to me except when I saw this band saw. Trying to play it cool I inquired about every other machine he had then casually inquired about the "OLD" band saw. He turned it on to show me it worked and told me he wanted $80.00 for it. I told him I would give him 70.00 if he threw in that grinder(Dayton grinder)over there, he accepted and the rest is history.
