Comments:

The first owner was General Motors (where it was used in their truck division pattern shop). The machine is a belt drive (original motor was a Westinghouse 5 h.p., 3 phase). I swapped the motor for a Baldor 5 h.p. single phase. All other electric components are original (mag. starter, electronic brake). GM did replace the cutterhead with a Tersa Head. There are a number of 16" HD jointers on this web site, but I thought I'd include another one. It's a great jointer. I also replaced the belts with Fenner Drive V-belts.
