The saw was shipped to Mare Island Naval Shipyard on 12/30/1976. I found it for sale on Craigslist. It was built with upper and lower wheel electric brakes and a 2 HP motor with 3:1 variable speed Reeves drive. I did the complete tear down & rebuild. The saw had been stored outside under a tarp for a couple of years before I got it and was pretty rusty. The table had been coated with cosmoline though so at least there was no serious pitting. I managed to get a brand new 5HP Baldor brake motor for cheap to replace the 2 hp the saw came with.
