My name is Gene Hanson and I live in the Sierra Nevada town of Camptonville, I acquired this bandsaw at a yard sale in the town of Rough and Ready, Ca. It is suspected that it might have been used in a lumber mill, not much is known about it- much of the history of it can be found under Atlantic works on this website. I have restored it and have it on display on my property as a conversation piece. My father used to work in the mill here and I have been interested in old machinery since I was young. I am now 62 years old and still walk the 100+ acres of my ranch every day. Many people have stopped by to find out the story of the bandsaw. I hope someone who has some information on the history will email me at regello2@aol.com.
