Comments:

This is not an original Tauco Export product but rather a Tauco Manufacturing product made in South Africa. The jointer identical to the Rockwell Delta model was manufactured under that label name when Rockwell SA ( a wholly owned subsidiary of Rockwell Manufacturing USA) was forced to close down and the manufacturing side was bought by one John Cubitt. The factory was situated in Port Elizabeth South Africa. In agreement with Rockwell USA, John Cubitt was permitted to reuse the Tauco name as it had by and large fallen away then. The machines were cast from moulds of the original USA models but subtle changes such as the handles on the infeed and outfeed tables are evident. The label cearly denoted the SA manufacture and the RSA stands for Republic South Africa. The jointer belongs to Charles Mundell of Pinetown Kwa Zulu Natal.
