Purchased from a fellow who had this drill press passed to him from his Grandfather. Overall excellent condition. Very well taken care of, no drill marks in the table. Had a nice chat with the previous owner who said his Grandfather used to wrap exposed parts in oil smeared plastic wrap. That's why it appears so dark, and so wonderfully preserved.

Stewardship is now my responsibility and I plan to maintain the standard of excellence demonstrated by the previous owner. I'm simply going to clean up decades of oil residue and put it to work. It's now sitting in my basement.

Came with the multi-speed attachment, oilboard serial number tag, original chuck key and a set of motor adjustment rails. The chuck is a Jacobs #3. The motor is a somewhat bland 1/4HP GE that's I'll replace with a 1/3 HP Delco of the same vintage that I have sitting on a shelf.
