I acquired this saw from an aquaintance. Her father passed away and she passed it on to me. It apparently sat in his basement for many years before his passing. The first time I saw it, I was amazed at the overall condition that it was in. It still had the the original motor, rip fence, miter guage etc. They even had the owners manuals too. The only thing missing was the blade guard. All I had to do was clean a very small coating of rust on the top, adjust the rip fence slightly and it was ready to go. I cranked it up and it sang as though it was used every day. Even tough I have a 10" cabinet style saw I will make good use out this old timer.
