Saw this listed on a local on-line auction, and couldn't pass it up, that with the nicely curved cast base.

I think I paid about $70 for it, not a "you suck" price but not bad, and it actually worked when I plugged it in.

There are not guards with it so this will be my wire wheel grinder. I got a couple wheels from MMC, one twisted for heavy use and one straight for light use. Got about as much in the wheels as I do in the grinder.

Someday when I have fewer projects, I'll strip and repaint it.

Edited: Jeff J contacted me with more info about Hobart, and this appearently is a repurposed coffee grinder, as Hobart never made/offered metal or wood working machinery, which explains why there are no provisions for guards or tool rests on this grinder.
