I bought this machine from a fellow in Kentucky six years ago. It was in pretty rough shape at the time but after some welding and a part or two being repaired it was put to use. Besides cleaning, painting and replacing what I believe was the original starter, not much else has had to be done. Still operates whenever we need it on the factory motor. I have owned other large bandsaws but this is by far the smoothest and certainly made me a Tannewitz fan.
