Machine was manufactured on 7/26/1929, It was sold to Northern Machinery and Supply in Minneapolis Minnesota. The date of manufacture was obtained from Tannewitz.

I purchased the Bandsaw in Febuary 2006, It is an early model Tannewitz, The spoke upper wheel and lower door shown in the before photo are original, It has a manual hand brake that's also original to the saw. I debated on keeping the orginal guards but due a broke casting on the upper mount I decided to fabricate new guards from scratch.

This is a very smooth running and quite saw.
