From Ebay description: "Manufactured by; Northfield Foundry & Machine Co. 320 N. Water Street Northfield, MN 55057 Model 5 24" Wide by 8" deep wood planner. Three blades, recently sharpened. 7.5 HP GE motor, 30 Amp, 3500 RPM 220volt single phase. Rebuilt about 20 years ago. This is a neat cast iton machine built in the 1940's. Has Babbit style bearings. Machine could be driven by belt off of a tractor power take off. Approximate size 44" high by 48" deep by 60" wide and weighs approximately 750 pounds."
Personally, I think it is older as evidenced by the flat belt and babbitt bearings, maybe 1920's.
