Purchased this unit from a furniture maker in the Bay area along with its big brother, a Multiplex 50, two years ago. One of my famous all-night turn-around trips. Couldn't do it without my partner in crime -- thanks Matt! This restoration project was fairly simple but extremely time-consuming. Base was bent and covered in rust from being housed in the salt air all of its life. Rest of unit brush painted with two or three thick coats of white paint. This machine is a true beauty, runs smooth and cross-cuts like a hot knife through butter. Thanks to Robert Vaughan for his advice in restoring this vintage machine.
