I won this saw of a well know auction site yesterday for only $380.00. I couldn't belive nobody else bid on it. It was advertised as a 16", but there is plenty of room for a 20" blade. The original throat plate was actually cut up with a 20" blade. I have a 16" Davis & Wells table saw that has a 7.5hp belt driven motor on it, and I thought that spun fast. I was blown away with haw strong and fast the 7.5 hp direct drive motor is when I fired it up today. I had a new Biesmeyer fence sitting around my shop so I decided to put that on to make the saw functional. I will tear it apart and restore it one day, but there is already a line of other machines in front of it, so I am going to make it functional in the meantime so I can use it. My first Tannewitz and I thik it is the best machine is my shop thus far.
