In my rovings around places here in Kwa Zulu Natal South Africa, one finds old machines in all sorts of places. This drill press stands rather neglected in what was the Blacksmith's shop of the Baynesfield Farm Estate. A similar posting dates the drill press as around 1916 manufacture which fits in with the date that the Estate was at its peak. The Model number is 616. I doubt whether the machine has had much attention in its 90 odd year existence.
