The 1960 catalog shows this model on page 2 and 13, with a suggested retail price of $54.50 -- a relative picked this one up at a garage sale for significantly less. Inspection of the machine revealed nearly bare wires going into the motor. Disassembly of the motor showed cracked insulation all the way into the stator windings as well as from the stator windings to the brush card -- none of which was too difficult to fix. It uses a 1/15 HP (?) Dayton universal motor bolted directly to the gearbox underneath the table. In all, a rather noisy, flimsy machine.
