This motor and attachments are listed on page 50 of the 1959-60 Craftsman Power Tools catalog listed in the publications section on this site. It was offered with attachments including a planer which could be used upside down as a jointer, a router, a shaper table and a belt sander, plus a metal case. This unit came with the belt sander attachment, which I will upload separately. There is a wooden knob which attaches with the bolt at the top of the machine shown in the sander photos.

It attaches to its accessories with a two pin bayonet system and drives them with a spline shaft.
