Bought on eBay. Images of similar vises can be seen in scanned Burke publications on this website, for example in the "Burke Bench Millers" catalog.
Solid cast iron construction for all larger components. The graduated base is missing but this is definitely the swivel version as there is a "0" index marking and line on the front of the fixed jaw.
At some point the acme thread in the moveable jaw appears to have been stripped out and replaced with a brass threaded bushing. Previous owner also surface ground the top jaw surfaces and bed.
Markings consist of:
a) "0" index marking and line on front of fixed jaw
b) "2" on top left side corner of fixed jaw
c) "414" on top bearing cap
d) "0." on top surface of fixed jaw. Additional digits may have been obliterated during surface grinding.

Bottom surface. Appears original and horizontal tool marks suggest it was produced using a metal shaper or planer.
