This is one you don't see everyday so I thought I'd document it here.

I spotted this in a local ad and I just figured it was a 10" saw. It looks like a 10" right.

After getting it home I realized it is an 8" that has a lot of the same build as the larger 10" The table and blade are smaller obviously but the thing is a tank. This model was only offered in the 1956 catalog. It was not there in 1955 or 1957. There are a few 113.29730's documented but not this version. The table is stamped 11-56 so I assume this was made then.

A very nice and uncommon machine.
I sold this saw in June of 2024.
