I won this saw in an online auction and picked it up from Knotty Hole Woodworks in Palo Alto California. I messaged Northfield Friday 12/15/2023 and got this message back the same day. "S/N 452247-H is a 27” Bandsaw 2 hp 900 rpm, DMD with Wright Blade Guides. It left our Plant on 07/18/1945 and shipped to Fredrickson & Watson in Oakland, CA. It had a War Production Board Rating of AA2. In 1986, it was owned by Stair Design in Concord, CA. In 2018, it was bought by Everett Riggs in Martinez, CA. In 2021, Knotty Hole Woodworks in Palo Alto, CA acquired it. In 1961, a new Upper Guard was sent. In 2018, SZ #1 & SZ #0 Wright Guide Wheels were sent.

The saw seems to be very original and just needs tires and a tune up to go back into service.
