I found this Northfield 12HD jointer in North Carolina a couple of months back. It was still in active use, and runs perfect. Only missing the front and back cutter shaft guards. Contacted Northfield, and They verified it is a 1952 model. It was originally sold to Stearns and Foster in October of 1952 and spent most of it's life in their mattress factory until 2004. It was registered in Maryland by the second owner, registered in North Carolina by the 3rd owner in 2016, and now I am the fourth registered owner. Very well cared for. Has the original straight knife cutter shaft and gives an awesome straight smooth finish. It also came with the original lower dust collection shroud and mounting brackets
