Just purchased candidate for clean/rebuild. No nothing of age. 3 phase motor uses v-belts to drive multi-speed gear box. Shaper also has a two speed built-in drive, (Back gear) that gives it a large speed range. Final drive flat belt. Manual oiler with 20 or so gits oilers. Cross feed adjustable. Manual down feed.(Edited) Further inspection finds there is option to swap gear driving cross feed to vertical drive shaft for auto up and down feed of table. See later added pictures.
Casting on door states "John Steptoe Co." Clutch engages well but has no braking to stop ram. Any info appreciated.
