Acquired this from an estate sale. Identical model to my Dad’s Craftsman that I posted earlier. Had both extensions, lots of extras and a beautiful oak base. Planned to resell it. I cleaned up the saw and refinished the base. The woman I bought if from looked so sad as I loaded this into my car. I asked her when her husband had passed. She said,” three months ago.” I realized I was carting away part of her husband. Immediately I heard my Dad’s voice in my ear, saying ”Keep this saw and sell mine”. Which I did. She is thrilled. This saw now supplements my 1994 Unisaw and carries on the old woodworker’s legacy. I’m updating the 1/2 hp motor it came with to a vintage Craftsman 3/4 horse.
