I purchased this saw at a local auction for the whopping price of $35. I really just wanted it for the fence for my 1948 113.22411, but this is a really nice and taken care of saw with all of the original parts/accessories. It has a 3HP motor that runs the saw very well. It allows the owner to adjust the table to the saw for a perfect 90-degree/45-degree to the miter slots from two Allen screws on the top of the saw itself. The fence, XR-2424 operates very smoothly on the aluminum rails. I did not realize Emerson was still making saws for Craftsman in the USA in 1998 still, but the badge on the saw proves me wrong. The saw is sturdy and heavy and will, no doubt, provide many years of use. While this is a newer saw, it is USA-made and over the 20-years old or older threshold, so I thought I would post it here for any others looking for information for this saw.
