Hendey lathe No. 21582, a 14 x 6, Cone Head model, was completed on April 10, 1919. It was shipped with a Taper Attachment, an Oil Pan
and a set of No.2 Collets. The original owner was the Atlas Bolt and Screw Company, Cleveland, Ohio. The Centers are No. 2-1/2 Morse-
Hendey Taper and the Center Bushing is a Morse-Hendey No.4. This lathe will swing 14-1/2 inches over the bed. The Front Bearing Collar,
which returns oil from the journal to the Oil Cellar, uses a non-standard thread size, so will have to be made if it is missing. There
are no longer any Patterns, Castings or Repair Parts left in inventory for this lathe, but all of the original drawings are still in
the files , so parts can be made if required. The 1920 Operator's Book will cover the special features of this lathe.
