This lathe has been in my grandfather's shed for about 50 years that I am aware of. I know he built the shed in the early 70's and it was installed soon thereafter. My grandfather was a grape grower and had barns in other locations and this most likely came from those barns. He died in 1992 and I never really asked him about it. He use to use it to make custom items mainly for his farm equipment as well as some rustic furniture.
