This Leland motor was manufactured by the LeLand Electric, Guelph, Ontario, Canada estimated about 1940 to early 1950's. The motor was manufactured in compliance with the Canadian Standards Association (CSA Approval No 1229). This motor was used in my father's workshop to power a home made radial arm saw. The radial arm saw is long gone; however, the motor still purrs on like new.
