I acquired this machine in a private party sale through Facebook Marketplace in January 2021. The seller had owned the saw for about 5 years in South Bend, Indiana and had purchased it from a reseller in Indianapolis. The reseller purchased the machine at an auction in the Midwest and soon after that sold the saw. The reseller also sold the quadrant on eBay separately from the saw, which I have since tracked down and am in the process of purchasing. Prior to that, the history of the machine is not known to me. This saw is quite unique in that it has both the wide table (designated with the "W") and the sliding table (designated with the "S"). I have heard that there is at least one other JSW-250 down in Springfield, Missouri but this is currently the only JSW-250 on Vintage Machinery.
A more detailed acquisition story and discussion of the saw is documented here at OWWM: http://www.owwm.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=221838
Also, here is a quick video of the saw running if anyone is interested: https://photos.app.goo.gl/duRrTyJUMk1HD67i9
