Previous owner acquired it at the Michael Garber auction in Wappingers Falls, NY around 2013. I bought it from him in 2020. Casting has the town for Hendey machine company as Wolcottville which was renamed Torrington in 1881. Cope's book shows the planer design was about 1884. Town name would imply it was earlier than that but hard to know for sure. I got the machine in pretty rough condition but no major issues. I'll be restoring it in 2021 and plan on using it. I'll update the pictures when it is restored.
