Motor came on a 1954 Boice Crane 14" band saw. Motor was in great shape and runs nicely. Band saw and motor were acquired from a retired Boston are furniture maker. Tag on the band saw looks like it was originally sold in Massachusetts. Saw also had the original Boice Crane sales guarantee tag attached on the line between the motor and the saw, suggesting that this may have been the motor originally put on the saw in 1954 - but this is just speculation. Not sure of the date of the motor.
