I just bought this saw from Fred Beeks 11/10/2015. It will join it's cousin the No 6 floor Model I redid a few years back

Part 2 of the Fred Beeks dossier. This table saw was purchased new by Mr. Beeks Sr. approx 1934.

Freds No. 6 Bench Style (Left)Tilt Arbor, 10 in, Table saw. Similar to my own floor model No. 6. Several distinct differences but the details will help me get mine back in biz. Check out the mechanism to tilt the blade. Moves the motor over to let the belt twist to the proper angle. This is a left Tilt saw with a plug in splitter/guard. Fence guide rail loosens to slide over toward table extension to give wider range to the fence.

Started life at 1/2 HP, then 1HP, Now 1.5 HP.
