Bought 5/05 Heredon furniture auction, Spruce Pine, NC. FOR $177.10 . approx i,ooo lbs guessing, Motor is frame specific with built in pivot eyes and spring tension is adjustable, Modern wide belt drive. Belt is woven material 2" wide no more then 1/8" thick. T he motor is 3 HP 3450 rpm @ 60 Hz and 2850 @ 50 Hz which produces speeds of 20,700 rpm and 17,280 rpm . 220/440 3~ . This design is well thought out and simply designed to run in production and maintained by the total neglect departmentuntil it was replaced by Shoda 5 head CNC s which are pobably on the way to Mexico or south america because china only buys in order to copy. its interesting they don't like RED when it comes to there GPN. Well, the smaller footpedal when depressed, lowers the following pin into the template, pushing further down presses the large foot pedal down which raises the router up into the the work piece to be copied under the template. pushing the large pedal only releases the router bit back safely under the machine table , while at the same time releases the overarm following pin. This allows you to safely keep both hands on the tempale at all times while concentrating on what you're doing. It also has limiting adjustments to accomplish this safely also has a hand brake lever and spindle lock for bit changes. Well built solid design 90% AMERICAN MADE in 1972 before getting your hands dirty was bad, boy I must really be old!
