The Sigourney Tool Co “No. 0 All Ball Bearing Sensitive Drilling Machine”, Hartford, Connecticut, sold by Pratt and Whitney, casting code S-2-28 - likely made in 1928
Westinghouse 1725 RPM, 120V, 2.2A, 1/8 HP, three pulley speeds 4800, 7500, 10,000 RPM at the 1/4” No. A chuck. Quill travel is 1-1/4 inches.

Acquired from Landis+Gyr Metering in mid-1990s. Originally purchased by Duncan Metering of Lafayette, Indiana for the manufacturing of electric watthour meters.

Repainted, installed new bearings, and new belts over 20 years.
