The jointer is badge as Salt Lake Hardware Co. but is clearly a Porter. The listing was posted by a boat building/repair shop in San Pedro, CA. They were selling off all of the their tools because they were losing their lease after more than 60 years. The tools were all from before WW2 and I wish I could've bought the whole lot. They fired it up for a demonstration before unbolting it from the floor and loading onto my truck.
