Sears Craftsman general purpose polishing head.
Originally built by Central Specialty King-Seeley in the very late 1950s and early 1960s and transferred to Emerson in the mid-1960s.
Cast iron body.
Oilite bearings with spring loaded fill caps.
5/8" steel shaft reduced to 1/2-20 threaded ends.
Missing original flanges and pulley.
Original dark charcoal paint and foil sticker tag.

February 2016:
Purchased from the estate of the late OWWMer Joe Potter.
Another fellow OWWMer shipped it to me from California.

December 2016:
Added stamped steel flanges, 3L30 belt, and die-cast pulley from parts bin.
Filled bearing reservoirs with SAE30 non-detergent oil.
Test run at 2200 rpm with buffing wheels.
Powered by a 1955 Craftsman 1/2 hp 1750 rpm motor.
