This band saw is not that old but the model was and is made relatively unchanged since the 1940's. This machine was purchased at auction. It was coated with a light rust from sitting out for a short time but it cleaned up well. Motor is 3 hp 900 rpm 3 phase, this gives a blade speed of 7500 fpm (resaws very well). The restoration I had to do was cleaning and remove rust, new tires, guides, and upper wheel bearings. This machine runs and cuts exceptionally well.
