I bought this from another local hobbyist who was having a 'tool sale' to clean out his shop. I think I paid $125 or $150. I don't know how long he owned it; but, I think, based on the 113. model number prefix, that it might be an Emerson Electric model. Can anyone comment on that and a likely production year?
The serial number shown (113.206890) is actually a stick-on metal tab. Under it, there is what appears to have been the original number of 113.206933. Anyone know why the serial number would have been changed?
My shop is VERY small so I removed the jointer from its original stand, which had splayed legs and put it on a vertical, rolling base. I cleaned it up, aligned everything and put in new blades and it really gets the job done.
Finally, when I got it, the blade guard was already cracked and recently broke in two right at the pin it swivels on. Parts haven't been made for this for a while and I can't find one on-line. Anyone out there have one I can buy? The original part number is 67015.
