Purchased from a gentleman outside Tulsa, OK in 2017. Unit was purchased by this person from a gentleman who used it for gunsmithing. Unit was equipped with 1/4 HP motor and uses the double v-belt drive found on the late model Precision Bench Lathes (clockmaker lathes). This unit had been repainted to a teal color and had been repaired (broken belt guard brazed). This unit is also fitted with a rare screw-cutting gear attachment with top-slide drive. Unit is missing telescoping shaft.
Currently undergoing full restoration including smoothing castings and repainting to color more commonly found on lathes of the era (close to Sherwin Williams Peacock Plume). However, the original color of this particular unit was likely a machine grey as was found underneath the brass Wade emblem on the bed.
Looking for steady rest (3.5" centerline), topslide drive shaft, and screw-drive tailstock. Please contact if you have these for sale
