This is a Lewis kit horizontal mill listed on C-List in Iowa/Illinois. Pictures have been posted with owner’s permission. It is set up with a DC motor and a speed control. The horizontal spindle takes a Morse taper #3. The Porter Cable vertical head takes a Brown & Sharpe #7. It has the original Lewis kit vise on it as well. The current owner believes a previous owner may have put a Hardinge horizontal mill table on the Lewis. A magnificent machine, well made and well modified.
