Was used with an old Wards shaper - inside was caked with fine sawdust. This model has sleeve bearings, and the bells are non-ferrous metal. But note on this forum is a very similar version that has ball bearings, and the bells appear to be cast iron. Shaft is 5/8". Acquired via CraigsList.
