We have had this machine since about 1995, got in a trade from a sheet metal company in Turner Or. It was originally made to be driven by a belt from line shaft, someone has hung a 7 1/2hp motor on it and turned the crown off the drive pulley, it has 4 V-belts running on the flat. I was told it was rated for 1/4" plate, which it will cut, but not all the way across since I keep it adjusted tight enough to cut a single sheet of paper. The entire frame was cast in one piece, it weighs nearly 3 tons. It is very interesting to look at, almost every part of it has been broken and repaired at some point in it's long life. The styling looks very similar to the portable shop crane pictured in the reproduced magazine add for this manufacturer. I will post some more pictures of it as time permits.

Much of the name was obliterated when someone put this hold down on, this is not original to the machine
