This post drill is the property of Brenda Kelemen-Tkachuck, who provided the photos. This is a nicely preserved model, with two surprises. The last photo shows a broken-off casting on the right, and an original wrench on the left. A surviving wrench is a lot less common than the post drill itself. Even better, there was an original instruction sheet stapled to the back of the wood board. To see that instruction sheet, go to the "Publication Reprints" tab and look for "Canadian Blacksmith Drill: Operating Instructions".
