Comments:
I picked this up on Ebay in January 2018. This is the first Westcraft buffer of this model to be listed on Vintage Machinery.
I stripped and repainted the outside of the unit with Rustoleum Colonial Red which was almost a perfect match to the original color although the original color had slightly more of an orange tint. I also cleaned and buffed the metal parts, and now it is like new again.
Details:
Model WA 100
Cast aluminum body (I believe)
bronze bushings, no oil caps
5/8" shaft with 1/2" threaded ends, 8" shaft length, 5 3/4" height of shaft at center
7" height, ideal for 6" buffing wheels or smaller
